Richard graduated from Oklahoma State University with a Bachelors of Science degree. He is a licensed HVAC technician, a licensed mechanical journeyman and a certified IGSHPA installer and trainer. Richard has worked for Environmental Loop Service since 2008. He specializes in commercial and residential geothermal heat exchanger estimation, sales, customer relations and in-house project management. With over 24 years of experience working with geothermal heat pump systems, he can answer any design and feasability questions/concerns you might have. Richard also raises cattle and is the assistant chief of his local volunteer fire department.
Before working at ELS, Jamie attended aviation maintenance school and worked in construction as a builder and project manager. He began installing, trouble shooting and repairing geothermal systems for ELS in 2005. Jamie is a licensed mechanical and processed piping journeyman, a certified IGSHPA installer and can diagnose and repair any Geo system. He is now a project manager, estimator and designer for ELS. Jamie is also a local musician.
Prior to establishing ELS, Peter attended the Academy of Aeronautics in New York, served in the US military and attended the APEX technology school, completing 500 hrs of training in refrigeration and air conditioning. He moved to Tulsa, and in 1980 formed the mechanical contracting company Shillingford Service Company. Peter partnered with Jay Murphy in 1986 to establish K&M Shillingford, a design build HVAC company still operating in Tulsa. In 1999, Peter and Jay established ELS. Throughout his career, Peter has attended seminars and trainings to enhance his knowledge in the mechanical field. He is a member of the trade organizations ASHRAE, IGSHPA, ACCA and serves on the City of Tulsa's mechanical board. He is a licensed mechanical contractor in Oklahoma and Arkansas and a licensed plumbing contractor in Oklahoma. Peter is an active member of the Rotary Club and Knights of Columbus and participates in charity organizations and events that serve to benefit the Tulsa community.
Jay has spent his life improving and advancing clean energy technologies. He graduated from the University of St. Louis with a bachelors degree in Aeronautical Engineering in 1976. He is an HVAC mechanical contractor and has his boiler license as well. Jay has trained with the International Ground Source Heat Pump Association (IGSHPA), Carrier, Trane and a multitude of other HVAC manufacturing schools. He is owner and president of K & M Shillingford Incorporated, a design build mechanical contracting firm that specializes in Earth Coupled Geothermal HVAC systems. K & M Shillingford is the oldest geothermal contractor in the United States and has worked on thousands of successful geothermal projects. He is also the president of Environmental Products Supply, a company that provides products, training and services to the earth coupled geothermal industry. Jay is the vice president of Environmental Loop Service. Jay and Peter have been partners in the industry for over 30 years.
Jeremy began working for ELS in 2005. He is our Operations Manager and his responsibilities include scheduling jobs and organizing the crew and materials. Jeremy is an IGSHPA certified installer, a licensed mechanical journeyman and has his Oklahoma Drilling license. He is an expert with all things mechanical. Jeremy also builds and races micro sprint cars.
